SIMSme Business 2.4 combines proven RSS technologies with innovative messenger functions
The release 2.4 ties the connection between SIMSme Business and news from external RSS feeds. The update enables the creation of channels in which these feeds can be integrated in just a few steps and again checked for functionality. These notifications are then converted to SIMSme messages. Longer messages are shortened with a “more” link. This allows companies and administrations to create an externally protected, individual news pool for employees, which can also be combined with internal content management systems, such as intranets.
In addition to connecting RSS feeds, administrators can of course continue to send their own push notifications directly to the channel. This can help when things need to move quickly, for example during critical events such as server problems or a fire alarm.
Intuitive administration and simple news management
The administrators organize the channels via the Management Cockpit. The selection and management of previously verified channel users – i.e. a customer team, the HR department, or the design department – and the integration of the desired news sources, the RSS feeds, can be set up quite intuitively here. Et voilà: And thus the clear news feed containing exactly what is needed and addressing all those in need of the information is finished.
With the update to version 2.4 the SIMSme Business communication tool becomes a news pool. The Messenger now has the potential to be the central information platform from company in-house matters to industry news and emergency alerts.
